Our Espresso Facial Scrub is unique as it features fresh, locally-sourced Fairtrade coffee beans which we expertly grind to a fine coffee powder. This provides the delicious aroma of freshly ground coffee without the need for added fragrance. Coffee contains caffeic acid, a powerful antioxidant, which increases collagen production, prevents premature aging, and is useful in the prevention of dermal diseases. Read more HERE.
Another unique ingredient we feature in our natural face scrub is Mānuka Leaf Extract from premium Mānuka harvested in the Waikato by Mana Wahine. These women carry a lineage of Mātauranga Māori on how to approach and harvest botanicals in a sustainable and respectful process. Mānuka was extensively used in traditional Māori herbal medicine and has been shown to have very strong microbial resistance making it a useful ingredient for cleansing skincare products.
How to use:
Apply a small amount of scrub 1-2 times per week to damp face, neck, and décolletage. Massage gently into skin. Rinse well with warm water and a clean face cloth. Follow with our Replenishing Natural Toner, and Nourishing Natural Day Cream or Ultra-rich Natural Night Cream.
Suitable for normal, dry, combination, acne-prone, and oily skin types.
