About Our Products
A: Every Scenturie product is handcrafted in small batches in Auckland, New Zealand. We source our high-quality, sustainable ingredients from approved local suppliers and distributors wherever possible, ensuring maximum freshness and quality.
A: Yes. We are committed to using only natural, plant-derived ingredients. Our two main priorities are effectiveness and safety. We thoroughly research every ingredient using up-to-date scientific studies to ensure it is beneficial for your skin and safe for both you and the environment. We never use parabens, sulfates, silicones, synthetic fragrances, or other known irritants.
A: Yes. We are very proud to be a 100% vegan and certified cruelty-free brand. This is a core part of our philosophy. We are proud supporters of the New Zealand Anti-Vivisection Society (NZAVS), so you can be confident that no product or ingredient has ever been tested on animals.
A: While we use many organic ingredients, our range as a whole is not certified organic. We focus on sourcing the highest quality cosmetic-grade natural ingredients based on their proven nutritional benefits for the skin. The refining process for these ingredients ensures they meet strict purity standards.
A: We are a proudly palm oil-conscious brand. We formulate to avoid palm oil, and the vast majority of our ingredients are 100% palm-free. To create the beautiful, stable texture of our creams, one essential component of our natural, olive-derived emulsifier is a derivative from RSPO-certified sustainable palm oil. We are committed to finding a 100% palm-free alternative as soon as new formulating technology makes one available.
A: Any product that contains water requires a preservative to be safe. We only use Ecocert and BIO-GRO approved natural preservatives. Our water-free formulas, like our Revitalising Face Oil, Facial Cleansing Oil, and Super Boost Bakuchiol Serum are completely preservative-free.
Health & Skin Concerns
A: Yes, our formulas are specifically designed to be gentle and soothing. Our Natural Creamy Cleanser and Nourishing Natural Day Cream are particularly popular for very sensitive skin. However, as some people can be sensitive to natural ingredients, we always recommend performing a patch test first.
A: Apply a small, pea-sized amount of product to a patch of skin (like your inner arm). Leave for 24 hours. If no irritation occurs, you can go ahead and use the product as directed.
A: Yes, all our products are considered safe for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The essential oils we use are in extremely low, safe quantities that meet international standards. However, pregnancy can make skin more sensitised, so we always recommend patch testing.
A: Some of our products contain ingredients derived from nuts or soy. While the refining process usually removes the allergy-causing proteins, we cannot guarantee all traces are gone. Please find the full ingredient list on each product page and consult your medical practitioner if you have a severe allergy.
Orders & Shipping
A: We offer FREE SHIPPING on all NZ orders over $99. For orders under $99, a flat rate of $7.00 applies.
A: We dispatch all orders from Auckland within 2 working days. Estimated delivery is typically 1-3 working days for the North Island and 2-4 working days for the South Island. Rural delivery may take an additional 1-2 days.
A: We currently ship to Australia for a flat rate of $20.00 NZD (for orders under 2kg). Please allow up to 10-14 working days for delivery.
A: Your happiness is our priority. We are happy to offer a refund or exchange on any product returned within 30 days of purchase, provided it is substantially unused. Please see our Shipping & Returns page for detailed instructions.
