INGREDIENTS
NZ Glacial Bentonite Clay has a unique ability to produce an “electrical charge” when hydrated. When mixed with water, its electrical components change, allowing it to absorb excess oil and impurities from the skin. This makes it an excellent option for those with oily or acne-prone skin. It can also help to unclog and reduce the appearance of pores, exfoliate the skin, improve circulation and promote a more even skin tone.
Organic Coconut Milk Powder is nutrient and antioxidant-rich containing high amounts of potassium, folate, and vitamins C, E, and B. It is rich in fatty acids which deeply hydrate and moisturise the skin leaving it feeling soft and supple. It also has antibacterial properties making it a helpful ingredient for people with acne.
Aloe vera leaf powder is obtained from the inner portion of the aloe leaf. Aloe vera is rich in antioxidants and vitamins and is well known for its healing and moisturising properties. Aloe vera has powerful anti-inflammatory properties which help to calm, cool, and soothe the skin.
Mango is rich in mangiferin, an antioxidant that has been suggested to help prevent cellular damage. Mango is also a great source of vitamins E, A, and C, essential for healthy skin.
Sea buckthorn fruit has a unique composition of carotenoids, vitamins, fatty acids, and complex lipids which help to nourish, tone, and firm the deep layers of the skin, and stimulate regenerative processes in the epidermis. Sea buckthorn contains over 190 biologically active compounds, including vitamins A, C, E, and K, flavonoids, carotenoids, and essential fatty acids such as omega-3, -6, and -9. These compounds work together to provide a wide range of benefits for the skin, including anti-inflammatory, strengthening, and moisturising properties.
How To Use:
- In a small mixing bowl mix 2 level teaspoons of clay mask with 1 tablespoon of water and stir to form a smooth paste. Take care not to get any water in the clay mask jar.
- Avoiding your eye area and lips, apply a medium to thick layer of mask to your face then sit back, close your eyes and relax.
- Leave the mask to dry for no longer than 10-15 minutes.
- Rinse off with tepid water and pat your face dry with a clean towel.
- Follow with 2-3 drops of our Revitalising Face Oil or Super Boost Bakuchiol Serum for a nutrient infusion, followed by our Nourishing Natural Day Cream, or Ultra-Rich Natural Night Cream.
TIP: Place the mixed mask into the fridge for 10 minutes before use for an extra cooling effect.
Each jar contains enough clay for 9-10 masks (18-20 teaspoons). Recommended use is once per week or as required.
